Rice & Spice is a magazine and collective by Asian American youth. As a space for creative expression, we foster a diverse community that celebrates our generation’s voices and stories.
Rice & Spice was founded in the summer of 2020 by Rice & Spice’s Editor in Chief Sydney Ling out of boredom and creative impulse during the pandemic. Starting out as an Instagram page and a Google submission form, Rice & Spice has since then grown into an international community as we continue to champion our starting mission of advocating for the representation of Asian American youth’s creative work in media.
