As a student at Ohio State University, how did you get into DJing?

There was a DJ club [at my school], and I went to one of the parties that they threw. I thought one of the DJs named Ethan was very good, and now he manages me.

Favorite song/remix from your set?

Definitely “jeans” by 2hollis into “Club classics” by Charli XCX.

You’re also known for doing shows with other DJs like DJ Mandy in New York — who are your biggest music inspirations?

Frank Ocean. Right now, I’ve been listening to a lot of Mk.gee, but I don’t have any DJ inspirations other than Ethan and Isaac, who are also from Ohio’s DJ Club.

Any advice for others who also want to get into DJ’ing?

We need more plumbers and electricians [laughter]. Kidding, but if you actually want to start DJ’ing, just play and learn.
