i am fragmented. let me talk about

gymnosperms, angiosperms,

let me stumble through explanations of flowers.

let me take a walk with you down marble streets,

pointing out the types of columns:

doric. ionic, corinthian. statuesque, porcelain, so like my brain.

i think you’re my best friend,

so i imagine you wreathed in primroses.

i am fragmented. clementines, coarse skin, soft light. i cannot form a complete thought.

i am soft in this life,

my mind like soup, my hands fall with gravity.

it is spring and i am gone again.
