In Brooklyn, Hana Vu transforms Baby’s All Right into a place of her own. The atmosphere is a collective entity of youth and freedom. After the grungey indie-rock of opener Jayla Kai, Vu’s set conjured an early 2000s punk aesthetic. Like a scene from Scott Pilgrim, Vu strums her electric guitar, singing in her smoky voice. Vu explores her emotions in her music, turning feelings into songs, which evoke a wistfulness. The siren beat beckons the crowd to dance, and Vu commands it.
