Rice and Spice embarked to capture UK artist Joy Crookes’ first headlining tour in Los Angeles at The Roxy, with singer-songwriter and producer St. Panther opening. She wore a pearl-encrusted top, ornately decorated up to her neck, and a pair of black combat boots. Soaked in indigo light, Crookes strummed her guitar to the melody of her music. With her syncopated beats, Crookes belted out the lyrics in her husky voice to an adoring audience. The crowds swayed, bounced, and danced. Crookes shifted the paradigm in the room, turning the energy into something beautiful, mellow, and intrapersonal.
