If I Were

"If I Were" is the title of my most recent single, which I released in early 2020. I initially wrote this song my freshman year of college; I had just moved to Texas from Maine, and to top it off, it was my first exposure to "public school" as I had grown up homeschooled. I wrote a song about the relationships I saw other people go through my freshman year - people who were friends but started to develop romantic feelings for each other. It was the very first song I produced on my own as well. This song has gone through 2-3 major arrangement changes since then, so it was a very awesome feat to be able to release something I was truly proud of 7 years after I'd written it!
