These photos were taken in Chinatown, Manhattan. For the locals, Chinatown is the place they live; for others, it is a place where people explore the Chinese culture and food. Chinatown is there for everyone because it embraces and hosts everyone. For me, I find Chinatown stunning- even though the streets are narrow and loud, even though it’s always so hectic and busy. However, I can always find a corner, stoop, door, or window that shocks me with its beauty and charm. I took these photos in different spots in Chinatown because I wanted to express how dreamy and pretty the neighborhood can be. My model, Shuang, glows spectacularly and unapologetically.
